Father’s Day
June 20, 2010
Welcome!
Sunday’s are special because we show our love for our heavenly Father together. On this Father’s Day, we worship God and honor our earthly fathers as he commanded.
Prepare Your Hearts

UPCOMING EVENTS
- June 27 – Special Speaker – Grace Fabian, this will be the kick-off for our “Missionary Christmas in July”. There will be a box under the bulletin board to collect your donations for our Missionary Christmas gifts. We currently have 4 Missionary Families that we support. FCC has supported Grace & her family for many years. She & her husband spent many of those years in Papau, New Guinea as Bible translators. She currently has a book out telling about that experience. It’s available in the church library and she will also have them available for sale when she is here next week. SS Teachers please note: Children up to the 6th grade will be joining Grace in the chapel for Sunday school while everyone else meets in the main auditorium for the Business Meeting. Of course we do need a couple adults to stay in the chapel to help Grace.
- Special Business Meeting, during Sunday school. After diligent consideration we are pulling back the vote on the package for the new facility. There is a need for more discussion and interaction on the best course of action for FCC. The scheduled meeting will focus on supplying information and hearing feedback in light of the work we have done up to this point. I hope you can come and the church body is encouraged to participate in a conversation concerning your future.
- July 6 – Building & Grounds and Bldg. Team Meeting – 7:00 PM @ Fellowship Center.
- Aug 8 – Run/Walk for Life @ the Speidie Fest. – All new this year. To participate you must register ahead of time with the Kelly LaBare 5K & pay an $8 fee. Register at www.SpiedieFest.com or call race director Grace Tabeek @ 607-722-8744
Ladies Book Club Note: The Ladies Book Club will be serving lunch in the chapel for Grace following our services. You’re welcome to join us if you’d like, but please let Terry know.
