TODAY – Ladies Book Club Luncheon, following Sunday school in the chapel. We will be discussing the book we read over the summer, called Holding Her Head High, 12 single mothers who championed their children and changed history, by Janine Turner. “She watches over the ways of her household… her children rise up and call her blessed… charm is deceitful & beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Prov. 31:27, 28, 30 New members welcome!
THANK YOU NOTES:
- Dear Ones, Your prayers have been like warm hugs. Your generosity & support have aided in my healing. Your patience in my return has helped to hold me up as I heal & Look forward to being with you all. I praise God for allowing me to go through yet another difficult time. Hi is in control. Linda Dodd
- Dear Pastor & friends at Kirkwood, Greetings & thanks for sending Christmas gift added with the month’s support. I have no words to thank you & the church for your generous gift & love that is expressed. Our hearts are full of gratitude & praise before God for God’s people who love & care. This is the first gift & probably the only one we may receive & that makes it more meaningful & praise-worthy. God bless you & reward you for the act of love. It is not the money alone but speaks of your thoughts, desires, concerns & prayers for others whom you love. Though we are more than 10,000 miles apart, but we can feel the warmth of it. My wife & I are thankful for your expression of love. God bless. Kindly greet & thank all saints at Kirkwood on our behalf. With love, Alice & Thomaskutty – India
