- Nov 6 - Harvest Dinner/ Pastor Appreciation,October is Pastor Appreciation month, but we will celebrate it together with our Harvest Dinner right after Sunday school on Nov. 6. There will be a basket for your cards & gifts of appreciation for Pastor & his family.
- Nov 8 – Election Day – let your voice be heard.
- Nov 11 – Veterans Day – shake the hand of a veteran.
- Nov 13 – Guest Speaker, Josh Allen
- Nov 20 – Church Business Meeting, during the Sunday school hour.
- Nov 24 – Thanksgiving Day – Give thanks with a grateful heart!
- Nov 27 – Communion Service during the Worship Service.
Missionary Christmas Gifts of $550 have been sent out to each of our Missionary families this past week.
Christmas Boxes – Please take an ornament off the tree & fill a Christmas box for a family that is being helped by the Life Choices Organization or you can just bring in donations for families in general for Life Choices to hand out. Deposit them in the box available in the foyer. Suggestions for gifts are listed on the back of the Nov. calendar.
Secretarial Note – fyi
I will be out of the office for the next 2 weeks. Please direct your announcements or questions to Mindy Griffith, your new part time secretary. Feel free to send messages to fcc.Kirkwood@yahoo.com. She will pick them up when she is in the office. Mindy will also be working the first consecutive Wed. & Thurs. of each month as we will be sharing the work load. That way we will both be ready to back each other up.

Christmas Gifts
At the end of this month we will give you a chance to choose a local family to buy Christmas gifts for. These families are people that Life Choices Center works with on a weekly basis. Some are just a parent & child and some are a whole family. So for the larger families feel free to pair up with your friends in order to fill a box. We will have ages and sex of each child and also suggestions for gifts. So watch for the Christmas ornaments.
