SUNDAY SCHOOL HI-LITES
My name is Bonnie Scott. I teach 2nd and 3rd graders. I’ve been a Sunday School teacher for thirteen years and I’m loving every minute of it.
My main emphasis is teaching my students the books of the Bible, old and new. We are learning that The Bible, (a Library of smaller books) is broken up into parts. The Old Testament has The Law, History, Poetry, Major Prophets and Minor Prophets. The New Testament has the Gospels, History, Letters to the Church, by Paul, letters to others by Paul, General Letters, and Prophecy. We are also learning about the Table of Contents and we use the same type Bible for all of my students, so it is easier for them to learn.
My goal is that when they go to the 4th grade class they will have a better knowledge of their Bible, its characters, references, dictionary, and maps. Oh! We also have a snack, do art projects and play games too.

Thanks for attending First Christian today. Please come again!
