Change for Life
Have you ever been inspired by something? Has anyone ever inspired you? At Life Choices Center, we strive to Inspire Life in other people. You can join us in this endeavor by participating in our Change for Life campaign. To help out, pick up a baby bottle, fill it with coins, cash, or a check, and return it by March 4. Be sure to write your name on the sign-out sheet for any bottles you take. Last year the Change for Life campaign brought in $36,000 – all money that helps women and men in our community before, during, and after an unplanned pregnancy. Last year our church raised $495.00. Let’s see if we can beat that this year and Inspire Life together!
Special Note: As you watch the video from Life Choices you should note that the families you see in the pictures are the folks that you so generously purchased gifts for at Christmas. The adults of those families were especially touched by the fact that you gave them gifts as well as the children.

Living Above the Weather
Have you ever boarded an airplane in a snowstorm? The sky is gray with heavy clouds. Snow is coming down hard, with no sign of letting up. Plows clear the runway and unfamiliar machinery de-ices the wings. Passengers might consider it madness to fly in such weather.
But the pilot knows the storm is earthbound. Past the clouds is glorious sunshine. The plane can fly above the weather, if only it can get off the ground.
When troubles over take us like a storm, we may wonder in the midst of the darkness if God still cares or if he is even there at all. But if we believe that God, like the sun, is unchanged in good weather and in bad, we can ride it out. For storms are earthbound, but we are not. –Kari Myers

WHILE THEY WERE SLEEPING
It was an evening like any other. Ordinary men were doing an ordinary job. Shepherds were “keeping watch over their flock by night”(Luke 2:8). Was it chilly? Were they tired? When angels appeared with news of a Savior, had the shepherds been talking about their troubles or sharing a good joke?
How quickly, how mysteriously, how unexpectedly an ordinary night became the turning point of human history. How remarkable that God chose to set His great rescue plan in motion when only a young couple was paying attention and only a few shepherds were awake.
God’s work is sometimes so secret we may wonder if He’s there or if He cares. The Christmas story tells us that God works out breathtaking plans for our lives in the dark, often while we’re sleeping or going about our ordinary
